Hiking in the province of Namur

Apr 5, 2019 3:38:33 PM

Its thousands of kilometres of marked paths make the Namur Province a paradise for hikers.

Walks through the woods of the Semois river, or along the RAVeL (Autonomous Network of Slow Ways) that follows the Meuse or converted railway lines. Strolls across the endless landscapes of Hesbaye, between farms and fields, or climbs up rocky hills alongside the wild Lesse. In the province of Namur hikers are sure to find something to their liking.

For information, advice or escort:

The topographical maps of the NGI (national geography institute) will help you organise your treks. They are available at the "Maisons du Tourisme".
And always remember the "Code du Randonneur wallon" (code of the Walloon walker) when you cross the beautiful woods of the Ardennes.

Take a look at our brochures for all the tips and inspiration for your stay in the province of Namur!
