Wallonia Land of Water 2019

In 2019, experience Wallonia, Land of Water
Our beautiful Namur Province is generously watered by the Meuse, the Sambre, the Semois, the Lesse, by the Bambois and the Eau d'Heure lakes and by the numerous small streams along which you can enjoy a fine stroll.
Seize the opportunity of this year's water theme to rediscover the pleasure of a nice terrace at the water's edge, to go aboard a river cruise ship or steer a pedalo or to savour the benefits of the vital water.

Wallonie Belgique Tourisme has identified 3 ways of enjoying water:

  • In the water! Here you'll finde all the rivier tourism activities such as cruises, license-free boats, kayaking and so on.

  • At the water's edge , because the banks of the water ways, ponds or lakes are often relaxing spots for a pleasant stroll. Discover the water cities, the hiking and cycling routes, the heritage, the restaurants and lodgings at the water's edge.
